My name is Mary Ann Kerley and I have just signed up for Medicare and Social Security and
as anyone can tell you, the experience is overwhelming. I read everything I could pull up on the internet.
I had read all the insurance brochures that had been sent to me in the last 6 months but
there wasn"t that much good information.
One day I talked to my hairdresser about which insurance company she had selected to handle her Medicare and she said, very happily, Texas HealthSpring. She said she was undecided, like me, and she decided to take a survey of all her elderly customers. Well the most popular choice was Texas Health Spring.
Paul Thordsen, LUTCF She called Mr. Thordsen and she said he explained everything in detail to her and she decided to use his insurance company. So, then I called Mr. Thordsen and he first instructed me to go to Social Security and sign up for Medicare and after I got thru to give him a call . He wasn"t pushy like other insurance salesmen in the past. He listened to what I needed and he responded. He helped me by explaining what it would be like at the Social Security office and what I needed to ask and bring with me for my appointment . I will be calling him shortly to sign up for the Texas HealthSpring Advantage policy and I know I will be happy. Since I have learned about this company, I am finding out that some of the people I work with have family that also use this company and I haven"t heard one negative thing about it. I will not only save money on prescription drugs and doctor visits, but the out-patient and hospital benefits are outstanding.
I am finally happy about turning 65 years old.
