Let The Post Office
Do Your Prospecting
Direct Mail Marketing is another domino to build interest and loyalty to existing customers, and motivation for potential new customers to contact you.
Usually prospects need to receive mailings on a regular basis before they will take action and call you for information. You should develop your own unique style and strategy for developing direct mail campaigns.
Begin by developing a master list of potential customers. Then choose a good contact management software program such as ACT! to tract and determine which mail out and from who you received the best responses. Set up a specific consistent schedule for acting upon your direct mail program.
Some peoples mail boxes are full on Mondays so why not consider mailing on Monday so they will receive your mail by Wednesday and be sure if you choose to, call them on Thursday. Choose 100 to 1000 prospects depending on your finances and mail them the same Monday of the month for a year.
Develop your own Style
Develop your image, keep it simple and make it easy to read and to the point. List services or products you know they need and ask them to call, fax, e-mail, telephone or better yet, visit your web site.
Tell them how these products or Direct Mail Services will benefit them and what you will do to follow up on your promises. You must ask them to respond and take action on your direct mail. Or why should they? Usually a good Direct Mail Company will place a piece that contains four key parts.
1.Headline
